Skoda Vision X Concept
The Skoda Vision X Concept – a smaller Skoda SUV – is previewed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show, giving us the first look at Skoda’s take on the Volkswagen T-Roc.
Another day, another SUV from the VW Group, this time Skoda’s take on the new Volkswagen T-Roc.The Skoda Vision X Concept is previewed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and it signals the countdown to the arrival of a new small SUV from Skoda as the Czech car maker takes VW’s T-Roc to deliver their new baby SUV.
You need to take the renders – and probably the concept too – with a pinch of salt as the production reality of the Vision X (expected to debut in Paris in the autumn) will be somewhat toned down from the renders we get today.
But Skoda clearly want to make a statement with the concept, so it comes with big 20″ alloys, FlexGreen paint job with contrasting roof, big panoramic roof, big sills, butch bumpers and a design, say Skoda, inspired by Czech glasswork.
Inside features a wide touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster and a minimal number of buttons.
Skoda aren’t saying anything much about what powers the Vision X, but they do say it’s a hybrid, but what flavour of hybrid we’ll have to wait and see.
