Jaguar I-Pace out in force to target FLEET buyers at Company Car in Action
The Jaguar I-Pace EV will be out in force this week at the Company Car in Action event at Millbrook as Jaguar targets fleet buyers for the I-Pace.
The Jaguar I-Pace will be arriving at UK dealers next month so more cautious buyers can take a good look, and have a drive, before signing on the dotted line for Jaguar’s very appealing electric SUV.But private buyers of the I-Pace are not Jaguar’s main focus for the I-Pace, as they reckon half of all I-Pace buyers will be fleet and business;, hardly a surprise when you look at the tax breaks and incentives, not least the very low 13 per cent BIK rate.
So Jaguar are out in force today and tomorrow (12 and 13 June) at the Company Car in Action event at Millbrook with 11 I-Pace ready and waiting for influential Fleet buyers to get behind the wheel and see just what all the fuss is about.
It’s one of the first outings for I-Pace models which can actually be driven – even the I-Pace at the recent Heathrow Chauffeur Fleet announcement was a non-runner – and demonstrates just how important business buyers are to Jaguar and the I-Pace.
Jeremy Hicks, JLR MD, said:
…what people may not realise is that I-PACE is actually an extremely compelling fleet car, too. At Company Car in Action, we want fleet decision makers to not only experience I-PACE’s qualities on the road, but also on the balance sheet. Very few cars will be cheaper to run per-mile, residual values are best-in-class and the benefit-in-kind obligation couldn’t be any lower.
It’s a compelling pitch. Where do we sign?
