Volkswagen T-Cross First Edition kicks off T-Cross sales in the UK

The new Volkswagen T-Cross – VW’s new baby SV – starts its sales in the UK with a limited run of 250 T-Cross First Edition models.

The Volkswagen T-Cross officially arrived last October as VW’s latest salvo in the SUV wars as a new baby SUV slotting in below the T-Roc and delivering a VW challenge to the likes of the Nissan Juke (and many, many more) urban SUVs.

It’s a lot less funky than we’d hoped, but the T-Cross looks to be a typically thorough VW offering which will be bought with the head rather than the heart.

Now, ahead of full ordering for the T-Cross opening in March, VW has delivered the T-Cross First Edition to kick off sales, high-spec model throwing a chunk of extras in to the deal.

The T-Cross First Edition gets Beats Sound, Discover Media Sat Nav, Pearl White paint job, silver roof rails, black styling highlights, 18” Funchal alloys and ‘First Edition’ badges.

All First Edition models get a Hobson’s choice of VW’s 1,0 litre TSI petrol engine, good for 113bhp, with a six-speed manual gearbox and FWD.
