The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has been revealed with aerodynamic updates, reduced weight and 595bhp from its 6.0 litre V12. Debuts Geneva 2015.

Aston Martin may still only have very limited options when it comes to chassis and engines, but that’s not stopping them launching yet another take on their Vantage range, with the arrival of the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
The aero kit is inspired by the GT4 and includes bigger front wings, a massive rear wing and diffuser, big side skirts, a big front splitter and a set of carbon fibre bonnet vents. There’s also a wider track.
Most of the GT3’s body is now carbon fibre – front wings, bonnet, door casings, roof (optional) – and polycarbonate rear windows help to cut weight too, as does the loss of electric motors for the seats and carbon fibre centre console and seat frames. The GT3 isn’t a featherweight – it still weighs 1565kg – but it all helps.
Under the skin the 6.0 litre V12 now produces 595bhp, has magnesium inlet manifolds, magnesium torque tube and a full titanium exhaust system, all of which add up to a 0-62mph of just 3.5 seconds.

The Vantage GT3 special edition is an uncompromising example of our design and engineering expertise and I’m sure the 100 owners who secure one of these cars will savour every second behind the wheel; whether on the road or on the track.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and just 100 will be made. Price is expected to be around £250k.
