Maserati Levante Vulcano
The Maserati Levante Vulcano is a run of 150 limited edition Levante SUVs with equipment and cosmetic tweaks and a choice of V6 petrol engines.
It’s two years since the Maserati Levante arrived to challenge cars like the Porsche Cayenne, and although it got of to a shaky start in the UK with only diesel-engined Levantes on offer, Maserati caught on and delivered both versions of its V6 petrol to the UK.Despite what don’t look to be stellar sales, the Levante is a good looking car, and able too, and makes for a real left-field alternative to the Porsche Cayenne.
Now, if you want a Levante, you will be able to opt for the new Maserati Levante Vulcano, although you may have to be quick as Maserati is only building 150 for the whole of Europe.
Available with both the 424bhp and 346bhp twin-turbo V6 petrol engines, the Levante Vulcano gets a raft of upgrades to make it an appealing prospect.
The Vulcano is available only in Grigio Lava matte paint – which Maserati says highlights the Levante’s sport lines – with the Nerissimo Pack, which adds lots of black highlights, Privacy glass, 21″ Helios alloys and red Brembo brake calipers.
Inside there’s full grain electric leather seats with embroidered Trident, Vulcano logo, ‘one of 150’ plaque, gloss carbon fibre trim, with standard stuff including Bowers & Wilkins Sound, soft close doors, parking sensors and LED Matrix adaptive headlights.
So far, Maserati hasn’t revealed how much the Levant Vulcano will cost.
