Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupe UK DYNAMIC debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupe gets its UK dynamic debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of Mercedes’ FoS offerings.

It doesn’t have a name which trips easily of the tongue, but the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupe looks a cracking car and more than capable of holding its own against competition from cars like the Porsche Panamera and upcoming BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe.

Revealed in March as the effective replacement for the CLS 63 – with an added dose of AMG attitude – the AMG GT 63 S will be one of the Mercedes highlights at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed as Mercedes send it up the Hill Climb, with Nurburgring 24-hour winner Adam Christodoulou behind the wheel.

It won’t just be the new 4-door GT going up the Hill Climb, as Mercedes plan to send the AMG GT R and AMG S 63 Cabriolet up the hill too, and Mercedes will also have the new AMG G 63 in attendance, as well as the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE hypercar and new A-Class.

On Sunday, Valtteri Bottas will take the 2016 F1 Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport F1 W07 Hybrid up Goodwood Hill too, with Mercedes classics like the 1955 300 SLR race car, 1998 CLK LM and the one-off 1939 T80 with a 44.5 litre V12 built to set a new land speed record in attendance.
