The new Nissan Navara pick-up has been revealed with Nissan saying it offers more comfort, practicality, technology and style than the current model.

Double cab pick-ups are an odd creation, but they make a practical – and tax-efficient – option for users who need both a car and a pick-up, so the arrival of the new 2015 Nissan Navara pick-up matters to many.
Inside, Nissan has moved the Navara up a notch or two in quality and ergonomics with a high-res colour display, aluminium trim (well, trim that looks aluminium), decent seats and a new steering wheel.
Under the skin the new Navara gets a reworked chassis (still with leaf springs) to cope with plenty of punishment (although it doesn’t do much for ride quality) and an improved turning circle for better maneuverability.
Power comes from an updated version of the 2.5 litre diesel four-pot with either 161 bhp of 187bhp mated to either a standard six-speed manual or optional seven-speed auto.
Nissan are claiming improvements of up to 11 per cent in economy over the current Navara, which will mean something around mid-30s mpg on the official cycle or mid-twenties in the real world.

No news yet on when the new Navara will come to the UK, but when it does we’d expect it to start at around £18k (plus VAT).
