New Porsche Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo
New GTS versions of the Porsche Panamera and Panamera Sport Turismo revealed as a sportier take on the Panamera to sit beneath the Panamera Turbo.
We’ve had a driver-focused Porsche Panamera GTS before, but this time round, now the Panamera has a good-looking estate version too, we get two versions – the Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo.
Sitting between the regular Panamera and the Panamera Turbo, the new GTS models do what a Porsche GTS does by offering a package aimed at those wanting a bit more edge from their Porsche, with tweaks to looks, power and chassis.
Under the bonnet is the familiar 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8, but in the GTS you get 453bhp 457lb/ft of torque (up by 20bhp and 74lb/ft), delivering a 0-62mph of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 182mph (180mph for the Sport Turismo).
As well as a boost in power, the GTS models get a slightly lower ride height (down by 10mm) and a tweaked version of PASM, with power going through an eight-speed PDK gearbox to all four wheels, standard Sport Chrono package and sports exhaust.
Styling titivations for the GTS models include Porsche’s Sport Design Package as standard with black trim on the exterior and 20″ Panameraa Design alloys, with an Alcantar interior with aluminium trim, heads-up display and flappy paddles for the PDK ‘box.
Bothe the Porsche Panamera GTS and Panamera Sport Turismo are available to order at Porsche’s UK dealers, with the GTS costing from £105,963 and the Sport Turismo GTS from £108,100.
