The Nissan GT-R is the latest version of the Nissan Skyline, which until now has just been a model in the Nissan range, and not available in the UK unless you were willing to do a personal import from Japan.
But the launch of the GT-R has changed all the. GT-R becomes almost separate brand, and the car is being sold throughout the world, including the UK.
With a claimed 470ish bhp and a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds, the Nissan GT-R really does have true Supercar performance. It recently took the fastest lap honours at the Nurburgring (something Porsche disputes, and a time that has since been bettered by the ZR-1), but the furore surrounding the car is evidence of the threat that high-end makers perceive.
With UK prices starting at not much over £50,000, the Nissan GT-R offers an absolutely astonishing amount of bang for your buck.
