The Toyota GT86, and it’s Subaru BRZ sibling, have been a big hit in the UK, and around the world, with lovers of (almost affordable) sports cars that aren’t overloaded by tech and weight.
Subaru has announced that they are increasing the supply of BRZs in to the UK market which means car buyers with a hankering should now be able to get a new BRZ in 2-6 weeks (depending on spec and colour).
Not only that, but Subaru are to have a range of performance, handling and styling upgrades from ProR for the BRZ available in UK dealerships in the coming months.
Paul Tunnicliffe, Subaru UK MD, said:
The BRZ has been a sales success for us, but we’ve always struggled to match demand with supply.
We’re hoping that our larger allocation will address this, and we’re confident that a greater number of car-loving buyers will now be able to appreciate the BRZ’s blend of light weight, usable power and fine handling characteristics.
It’s always good to take the slightly less obvious route in life, so it’s good news that there are going to be more BRZs available for UK buyers instead of having to opt for the default GT86.
