Next week at CES in Las Vegas Hyundai will unveil the Hyundai Cradle, a vehicle which can ‘Walk’ as well as drive through any landscape.
The world seems to be a more tumultuous place than it’s been for a very long time, but if the world is going to descend in to a Dystopian nightmare then don’t worry – Hyundai has your back.
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week, the Hyundai Cradle will be revealed, and although Hyundai aren’t saying much about it yet, it does look very much like an AT-AT Walker from Star Wars and perfectly equipped to deal with any sort of extreme terrain, from a Mad Max landscape to an Orwellian nightmare. Or perhaps just disaster areas.
We’re pretty sure the Hyundai Cradle isn’t quite as big as a Star Wars All Terrain Armoured Transport Vehicle, but it does perambulate in a similar way with ‘Legs’ which can walk when extended, as well as wheels for when the terrain is a little less harsh.
Hyundai say the Cradle uses a combination of robotics and EV technology to elevate the vehicle and offer a completely new vehicle concept, one which will go where no vehicle has gone before (a bit of Star Trek too), and that they will reveal it in full on 7 January at CES.
