2017 Land Rover Discovery hits UK dealer network
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is finally arriving at Land Rover’s UK dealers, meaning buyers waiting for a chance to test drive before they buy can now do so.
We live in a world where so many want the latest anything as soon as it’s public, explaining the mad dash for the latest Apple product and buyers who snap up new cars at the mere mention of their existence. But many of us would rather be one degree behind the curve and enjoy a far less stressful life, and before we buy a new car we like to see it for real, get behind the wheel, prod it, poke it and get a proper feeling for it before parting with our hard earned.
If that’s you, and you’ve been waiting for the new Land Rover Discovery to arrive in Land Rover’s UK showrooms, then today is your lucky day – the new Disco is now at large.
Unfortunately, the idea of test driving before you buy does mean you’re a bit behind the instant gratification mob, and Land Rover already has 4,000 orders for the new Discovery in the UK (and more than 20,000 globally), so you’ll have to wait a month or six for your new Disco once you do decide to buy.
But the chances are a bit of a wait won’t put you off, because the new Disco offers so much more than the outgoing Discovery, including seven properly usable seats, up to 500kg less weight, a plethora of safety and technology stuff, mountains of space and that undefinable special quality the most able of Land Rovers exude.
With the new Discovery costing from £43,495 to £68,295 for the all singing, all dancing First Edition, it’s going up against a lot of very good machinery, not least the cracking Volvo XC90.
But if off-road ability is top of your must-have list, the 2017 Land Rover Discovery will, we’re pretty sure, be peerless.
