Pictures of the Volkswagen E-Bugster
We have photos of the VW E-Bugster, an electric VW Beetle with a chopped roof, upright windscreen Fuchs-style alloys and a Carrera-style side graphic.
Despite the dramatic styling of the E-Bugster, it seems it is nothing more than a design concept made to show off the underpinnings due to be used in the electric VW Golf. That means a 114hp electric motor and a huge and heavy battery bank offering a minimum range of 112 miles.
The VW E-Bugster was debuted at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
