Despite taking aim at the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, Mercedes is suffering with a hastily constructed platform for the GLK which isn’t able to be made in RHD markets.
So all RHD markets worldwide have to do without a GLK – even a RWD GLK, which should be doable. However, this facelift for the GLK is probably the last GLK to be constructed for LHD markets only with the next generation GLK getting a new platform – based on the M Class – which will be available in RHD – but probably not until 2015.
