Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer costs from £25,349

The new Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer, which was revealed in July as Vauxhall/Opel’s answer to the Audi AllRoad, will cost from £25,349 in the UK.

If you’ve been having sleepless nights since July wondering how much does the Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer cost, fret no more. It starts from £25,349 in the UK. Which is not too terrible at all.

That’s a fair bit more expensive than the cheapest Sports Tourer with the 2.0 litre CDTi engine – the only option available at launch in the Country Tourer, but it is – as Vauxhall are at pains to point out in the press release – £5k less than the Audi A4 Allroad and £2.4k less than the VW Passat Alltrack.

There is just a single engine option – the 2.0 litre CDTi – which you can have in either 163PS or 195PS BiTurbo guise, and just two trim levels – Country Tourer and Country Tourer Nav.

All Country Tourers come with all wheel drive, raised ride height and the butch body extras, with standard spec including adaptive bi-xenon headlights, parking sensors and electric tailgate with the Nav version, unsurprisingly, adding SatNav (Navi 900 IntelliLink ) with 8″ touchscreen, multi-function touch-pad controller and digital instrument cluster.

The new Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer will arrive in Vauxhall dealers in January 2014.
