With the Jaguar F-Type Coupe edging ever closer to a debut, we have video of the F-Type up close and with plenty of noise.

The new Jaguar F-Type Coupe caught on road on video
We’ve all been predicting the arrival of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe since the F-Type Roadster arrived, but so far Jaguar are keeping it debut under wraps.
In many ways the F-Type Coupe seems a more pure design than the Roadster, and the video we have (below) gives us a pretty up-close view of the (camouflaged) F-Type Coupe in the real world.
What it also does is give us the chance to see the F-Type making some very nice noises as it pulls away hard, looking more convincing than the Roadster.
Expected to come with the same V6 and V8 supercharged engines as the Roadster, we also expect there will be a hardcore version of the F-Type Coupe with Jaguar’s ‘R’ setup with something close to 550bhp.
An enticing prospect.

Chris says
I believe the R version will be closer to 550bhp, using the engine found in the XFR-S and XKR-S models.
There’s talk of a 700bhp version too, although this could be just wishful thinking.
What it will offer, is more luggage room, which is pitifully small on the convertible even without the spare wheel.
