Jaguar F-Type gets custom luggage from Moynat

French luxury luggage makers Moynat have created a custom ‘Trunk’ for the Jaguar F-Type as a one-off to celebrate opening their first London store.

Luxury car makers manage to extract big sums of money from owners who want custom accessories for their cars, and Jaguar is no different.

But this particular piece of custom luggage for the Jaguar F-Type has been made as a one-off by French luxury luggage makers Moynat to celebrate opening their first store outside London.

The F-Type ‘Trunk’ (and it will only fit the F-Type Roadster) was created in collaboration with Jaguar and is inspired by Moynat’s famous ‘Limousine’ trunk.

The structure of the trunk is made from eight layers of wood moulded to fit the F-Type’s boot contours and then covered in grey slate leather to match the F-Type’s boot, with Moynat’s signature mandarin orange interior.

Moynat’s Artistic Chief, Ramesh Nair, said:

It was a pleasure to collaborate with Jaguar to create this piece. Our brands share a commitment to beautiful design combined with quality and functionality – qualities which are espoused in this bespoke trunk.

The F-Type Trunk may be a one-off, but as Moynat specialise in custom luggage we’re sure they’ll make one for you if you want, but it won’t be cheap.

A better option would probably be to pop over to the Jaguar F-Type Shop and buy a full set of fitted Jaguar luggage for £550.
