The new Kia Sorento is being teased once more ahead of its debut in South Korea later this month, with design sketches showing the improved interior.

2015 Kia Sorento teased – now it’s the interior
We sort of had the 2015 Kia Sorento revealed last week as Kia released a pair of design sketches of the new Sorento ahead of its public debut in South Korea later this month. And now we get the same treatment for the new Sorento’s interior.
The interior sketch gives no information – apart from layout – so we have to trust Kia’s press release to put a little flesh on the bones of a very simple drawing of the interior.
Kia say the new Sorento’s interior will raise the bar in luxury, that its modern, wrap-around dash boasts high quality soft-touch materials and offers a wealth of technology.
Kia boasts the new Sorento’s interior has been penned by their design team in Germany and is inspired by modern Swiss watches, with smooth contours, a high proportion of soft-touch materials, leather and stitching and features Kia’s HMI with big Infotainment screen, and long flowing shapes to cosset occupants and emphasise space.
It’s clear the 2015 Kia Sorento is going to be a notch or two up on the current model, and we’ll find out at the end of the month when it debuts in South Korea. The UK and Europe will have to wait until the Paris Motor Show in October to get their first look.
