The 2015 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is the latest iteration of Porsche’s most powerful Cayenne, and it re-states its claim as the most potent SUV on the planet, with a thundering 562bhp and 589lb/ft of torque.
The Cayenne S Diesel may be the best all-round Cayenne, but if you want the ultimate performance from an on-road SUV the Turbo S is the only pick, and this new version is going to make it very difficult for the new Bentley Bentayga to arrive as the fastest SUV you can buy.
Not only does the new Turbo S get more power, it also gets huge carbon ceramic brakes to haul it down from the daft speeds it can gather, Dynamic Chassis Control to reduce body roll, Torque Vectoring Plus to tweak the torque to each wheel and faster acting traction control to keep a grip.
Cosmetic tweaks include gloss black highlights, yellow brake callipers, 21″ alloys, sports exhaust, body-colour wheel-arch extensions and rear spoiler on the outside and carbon fibre trim and a new two-tone black and cream upholstery option on the interior.
The 2015 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S should arrive in the UK in April, and it’ll cost you £118,455 – as long as you don’t bother the options list.
