The new Ford Focus RS – Ford’s RS take on the latest Focus – is due to be revealed today, but the first official photos have leaked out early.

New Ford Focus RS leaks out
The new Ford Focus RS is being revealed later today by Ford as the RS badge once more returns to the Focus and dials performance back up to 11. But it’s arrived early.
As you would expect, the RS takes the looks of the Focus ST, and then adds some.
That means new bulging bumpers, a nose that’s reminiscent of the last Focus RS, big back wing and interior titivations including the Recaros from the ST.
Evo report the new RS is getting four-wheel-drive, with torque vectoring able to shift the power – expected to be up to 350bhp from a tweaked version of the 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine found in the new Mustang – to either axle, and up to 70 per cent of total power to a single wheel.
We’re not sure how much of this is conjecture, but we’ll find out at lunch time when the new Ford Focus RS is officially revealed.
