New Volvo XC60 LEAKS ahead of its Geneva debut
The new 2017/2018 Volvo XC60 is due to be revealed tomorrow (7 March 2017) but we already have the first photo of Volvo’s new mid-size SUV.
The new Volvo XC60 – which we can call either a 2017 XC60 or 2018 XC60 depending on when Volvo actually put it on sale – is due to be revealed tomorrowBut the interwebs have decreed that too late, with the first photo of the new XC60 (above) already leaked by Autoblog in the Netherlands.
Frankly, the one photo doesn’t tell the whole story, but what it does tell us is that Volvo are doing what we expected and delivering an all-new XC60 which looks just like the XC90’s little brother.
Add the leaked profile shot to the half a dozen or so teaser photos of the new XC60 we’ve already seen, and a very clear picture emerges of a car which will bring all the XC90 offers but in a more compact, more efficient and more affordable package.
Despite being more affordable, the new XC60 will still offer a cabin which epitomises Scandinavian cool – including the impressive Sensus Infotainment screen – but for five instead of seven, and a range of engines that will probably include the three-cylinder versions of Volvo’s new Drive-E engines.
The all-new Volvo XC60 gets its official reveal tomorrow.
