Dacia Logan MCV Stepway
The Dacia Logan MCV Stepway – Dacia’s high-riding, ‘off-road’ estate car – costs from £11.495 in the UK for the Lauréate TCe 90. First UK deliveries June 2017.
Dacia sales continue to rise as budget-minded car buyers eschew quality used cars in favour of new basic cars from Dacia’s range, so Renault’s budget brand is happy to continue delivering yesterday’s product at yesterday’s prices for as long as it lasts. The latest offering from Dacia is the Logan MCV Stepway, the Dacia attempt to offer a high-riding estate car with added butch in the mould of Audi’s Allroad models, albeit without the sophistication.
That means a ride height raised by 50mm, two-tone bumper with chrome skid plate, LED running lights, flared wheel arches, roof rails and fogs too for a purposeful look.
The new Stepway comes with a choice of nine colours, new 16″ Flexwheels (wheel trims) and a single Lauréate trim option.
That means heated electric door mirrors, rear parking sensors, 7″ touchscreen with MediaNav, Bluetooth, USB and AUX and Sat Nav.
Engine options are the TCe 90 petrol with official economy of 55.4mpg and a 0-62mph of 12.4 seconds, and a dCi 90 diesel with a 0-62mph of 13.0 seconds and 72.4mpg. Both engines offer the same 99bhp and a five-speed manual gearbox.
The Dacia Logan MCV Stepway is now on sale in the UK at Renault’s Dacia dealers, with the Lauréate TCe 90 costing from £11,495 and the Lauréate dCi 90 from £13,095.
