New entry-level VW T-ROC for the UK
The Volkswagen T-ROC, Arteon and Polo get engine and trim updates with a new entry-level T-ROC S and expanded Polo and Arteon ranges.
It’s only a couple of months since the VW T-ROC arrived in the UK, and VW has already decided it’s time to give its Qashqai rival a new entry-level option. In addition to the existing six model line-up you can now opt for the pauper’s spec T-ROC S with the 1.0 litre TSI 115 engine as well as a more highly specced 2.0 TDI SEL model with 150PS and 4Motion 4WD.
But as well as extending the T-ROC range at the top and bottom, VW has also expanded the offerings in the Arteon range.
New to the Arteon range – Volkswagen’s range-topper – is the 1.5 TSI Evo with 150PS and a manual or seven-speed DSG gearbox, available in Elegance or R-Line trim with prices from £31,055.
To round off the updates, VW is also extending the offerings in the new Polo range (which hasn’t even started to arrive in the UK).
New Polo models available include the 1.0 TSI 75PS in SE and Beats trim levels as well as the 1.0 TSI 115PS with manual or DSG gearbox in SEL trim.
Volkswagen’s rush of new models as it rebuilds its reputation continues.

T Roc? A bit over a year? A bit over a month, surely. (Don’t call me Shirley.)
