Honda has decide that its time to add a new bit of sportiness to to Honda Civic, so they’re introducing a new model – the Honda Civic Si.
The new Honda Civic Si is being made available across the whole five-door Civic range, regardless of engine or transmission. From which you would conclude, quite rightly, that this is a cosmetc ‘Sports’ job, not a power one.
So you get some upgraded Graphite-coloured alloys (16″ on the 1.4 litre and 17″ on bigger engined variants), colour-coded bumpers, front fogs, Type R style mesh grill and dark chrome door handles and fuel cap. Insdide you get Bluetooth and USB plus iPod connection.
Honda say that the Civic Si has been introduced to appeal to the Civic’s younger customers (are there any!?), so the fact that you can have the looks – if not the go – even on the smaller engined cars is a big plus. Which, if there are younger people looking to buy a Civic, is a fair point.
Paint choices on the Honda Civic Si are Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Deep Sapphire Blue Pearl, plus Milano Red as standard. The Si goes on sale in the UK in September.
