The Jaguar F-Type Coupe continues to get promoted with Jaguar’s #GoodToBeBad campaign with a new ‘Art of Villainy’ video featuring Tom Hiddleston.

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe and Tom Hiddleston in Art of Villainy
The UK has only just got the British Villains video advert for the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe (it was broadcast earlier this week on ITV), but that’s just the start of Jaguar’s campaign to make the world aware that the new F-Type Coupe offers something a bit special.
An opening voiceover of the John of Gaunt speech from Shakespeare’s Richard II (This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England..) sets the scene for an unashamedly patriotic push for the uniqueness of the F-Type Coupe.
Hiddleston tells us, after the stirring voice over, how to be the perfect villain (a metaphor for how to make the perfect Jaguar), telling us you need to sound distinct (cue F-Type exhaust note) and speak with an eloquence that let’s everyone know who’s in charge.
A villain should have style; the clothes should be bespoke and razor-sharp (could that be just like the F-Type?). It’s also important that a villain stays one step ahead – nicely demonstrated with a Bond-like gadget that turns on a sprinkler just as a Porsche 911 passes by. Oh, dear.
It’s all rounded off with a blat down the Embankment, another reinforcement of the Britishness of the F-Type.
Slick and cool. Just like the F-Type.
