Jaguar F-Type with Black Pack is Firesand Orange: LA Auto Show

The Jaguar F-Type has had its North American debut at the Los Angles Auto Show complete with Black Pack and Design Pack and Firesand paintwork.

The Jaguar F-Type bowed in to the world officially at this year’s Paris Motor Show, and now it’s landed on American soil at the Los Angeles Auto Show to excite potential buyers in what could be the F-Type’s biggest market.

But rather than roll out the standard models we’ve seen so far – the V6, V6 S and V8 S – Jaguar decided it ought to gild the lily a bit by rolling out an F-Type with a chunk of options bolted in so the Americans could see just how they could customise their own F-Type.

Perhaps the most striking part of the F-Type in L.A. is the Firesand paint job which comes as part of the exterior Black Pack (other colours available with the Black Pack are Ultimate Black, Polaris White, Italian Racing Red, Rhodium Silver and Satellite Grey) which adds the aforementioned paint jobs with gloss black highlights for the front grill surround, side vents and roll hoops.

Also on this F-Type is the interior Black Pack – which adds a flat-bottomed steering wheel, gloss black surrounds for the air vents, door switch surrounds and instrument cluster rings – and the F-Type ‘Design’ Pack which adds side sill extensions, a front aero splitter and gloss black colour-keyed rear valance (but only on the V6 F-Type).

It’s a convincing look for the new F-Type, perfectly judged to part an excited buyer from a bit more of their hard-earned.
