Jaguar has had quite a time at the Detroit Motor show, and has taken the car wolrd by storm with the launch of the XFR and the XKR. And just a short time before that they also announced the new 3.0 litre diesel for the XF (which we believe will also end up in the XK and the rest of the range), which offers more power for less fuel. Perfect.
And now it looks like Jaguar have played a real ace with the announcement today of the prices for the XF range.
The top of the tree XFR (which you may remember from a few days ago took the Jaguar speed record with a slightly modified car) comes in at £59,995. A lot of money, no doubt, but it undercuts the BMW M5 by nearly £6,000. And it’s a lot better looking.
The normally aspirated 5.0 litre V8 comes in at £10k less than the supercharged version at £49,900.
Prices for the new 3.0 litre diesel have also been announced, with the 270bhp version Diesel S coming in at £36,900, and the detuned 237bhp version at £33,900.
These are strong price points across the range, and make the XF an even more appealing prospect.
Can’t wait to get our hands on the XFR!
