2010 Jaguar XJ price detail
Jaguar has updated the prices for the new Jaguar XJ, including prices for the Supersports model
The interweb seems to be full of car sites telling us how much new 2010 Jaguar XJ is going to cost when it hits customers driveways and garages on 1st March. But quite honestly it’s hardly news. Apart perhaps from the price of the Supersports.
Cars UK reported in July last year the price of the Jaguar XJ. We weren’t being super-sleuths and digging out the prices from a mole at JLR (although if anyone at JLR would like to be our mole we won’t object!). Jaguar had made it clear shortly after the new XJ was launched at the Saatchi Gallery in London in July what the price structure was going to be.
In truth the only thing that has changed is the VAT rate and pricing details for the Supersports. And the fact that the Supersports was originally slated to launch in March, a few months after the rest of the range. But for whatever reason all the XJ range is launching in March. A bit of a disappointment to those buyers who placed an order for an XJ and were told they’d have it by Christmas, no doubt. But that’s how the cookie crumbles with new car launches.
So just to clarify. The Jaguar XK starts at £53,775 for the 3.0 V6 Diesel Luxury. Add around £3k for the long wheelbase version. Top of the tree is the Supersports which comes in at £87,445, Again, add £3k for the LWB.
Not exactly news. But with the XJ almost here it’s useful to be reminded.
