Whilst Land Rover are busy deciding exactly what the next generation Land Rover Defender will offer when it arrives – probably in 2016 now – they’re not forgetting the current Defender.
The new Defender Black Pack comes with a Santorini black paint job for the roof, grille, wheelarches and headlamp surrounds, ‘Defender’ script on the bonnet, Privacy glass, Alston headlining and a choice of gloss black Sawtooth alloys or gloss black heavy duty wheels.
The Defender Silver Pack offers Indus silver for the roof, facia, headlamp and grill surrounds and comes with Dual Finish alloys plus a bright light pack with white tail and indicator lights.
The Defender is now also available with Privacy glass, Alston headlining, Silver painted side runners, contrast leather seats in Ebony/Pimento, Ebony/Tan or Ebony/Lunar and a new paint option – Yulong White – is being added for the 2015 model year.
Finally, the 2015 Defender models will all come with DSC as standard, meaning all UK and European Defenders will have DSC, ABS and ECT as standard.
Which all make the Land Rover Defender more cossetting, safe but no less capable.
