Maserati Levante Trofeo and GTS SUVs go on sale in the UK – prices up to £160k

The Maserati Levante SUV Trofeo and GTS V8 SUVs go on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £105k and rising to £160k.

It’s more than a year since the Maserati Levante Trofeo was revealed at the 2018 New York Motor Show as a powerful V8 range-topper for the Levante range. And now it’s going on sale in the UK.

If you want bonkers performance from a luxury SUV, you already have a choice of everything from a Lamborghini Urus to a Bentley Bentayga – by way of the still appealing Porsche Cayenne Turbo – and now you can add to that list the Levante Trofeo.

The Trofeo’s 582bhp 3.8 litre Ferrari V8 gets the big SUV to 62mph in 3.9 seconds and on to 186mph, comes with Maserati’s Corsa driving mode, Launch Control, aluminium bonnet with dual vents, 21″ alloys, carbon fibre front splitter, body kit and Trofeo badging. It costs from £124,900.

If that’s not enough, there’s a Trofeo Launch Edition which adds unique paint jobs – Blu Emozione matte, Giallo Modenese and Rosso Magma – with “Pieno Fiore” leather seats in black with red, blue or yellow stitching and carbon fibre weave. It’ll cost you from £159,900.

If the Levante Trofeo is a bit too rich for your blood, you can still have V8 power with the Levante GTS, with a bit of styling tweaking from the regular Levante and 530bhp.

Both the Levante Trofeo and Levante GTS go on sale at Maserati’s UK dealers today, but of you want the Trofeo Launch Edition you’d better be quick – there are only 50 being built.
