New Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and GLC 63 Coupe now on SALE in the UK

The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and GLC 63 Coupe, revealed in April, is now on sale in the UK with prices starting from £74,599 and rising to £90,845.

If you decided, after seeing the arrival of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and GLC 63 Coupe in April, that this was the Mercedes SUV for you, then you’re going to need quite deep pockets.

The starting price for the entry-level AMG GLC 63 is £75k, and if you want the S model and Coupe body – with Premium Plus spec – it will cost you a thumping £91k.

Under the bonnet is AMG’s 4.0 litre V8 Biturbo engine with 469bhp and 442lb/ft of torque for the regular 63, and 503bhp and 516lb/ft of torque in S guise.

That’s enough to get the more powerful AMG GCL 63 S to 62mph in just 3.8 seconds (0.2s quicker than the regular model), with Mercedes claiming economy is around 22mpg. Not a chance in the real world.

All AMG 63 models come with AIR Body Control Suspension. AMG rear axle diff lock, memory seats, AMG performance exhaust, AMG body kit, 19″ AMG alloys, Mercedes’ MBUX, 12.3″ instrument display, Active Parking, ambient lighting, heated seats and privacy glass.

S models add red brake calipers, AMG Performance Seats, AMG Track Pace, AMG Performance steering wheel and 20″ alloys, and Premium Plus models add Panoramic Glass roof, Burmester Sound, Keyless-Go comfort package and sliding roof (well, in the Coupe). Options include Ceramic brakes for £4,285 and Driving Assistance Package at £1,695.

On sale now, the new  Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and 63 S 4MATIC+ SUV and Coupe SUV will arrive with customers in the autumn.
