The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class MPV is now on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £26,975 for the entry-level B 180 Sport.
The Mercedes B-Class isn’t quite the seller Mercedes would like, but with the arrival of the new A-Class we’ve subsequently got a new B-Class MPV too, promising more room and more practicality. And it looks better too.
Prices start at £26,975 for the entry-level B 180 Sport, with the B 200 Sport costing £28,525, the B 200 d Sport at £29,625 and the B 220 d AMG Line at £32,375.
As you may have worked out, there’s only Sport and AMG Line trim available, and AMG Line is the only trim level you can order in the B 220d.
The B 180 and B 200 get a 1.3 litre petrol engine with 132bhp and 159bhp respectively, and the B 200 d and B 220 d get a 2.0 litre diesel with 146bhp and 185bhp, with an 8-speed DCT on the diesels and a 7-speed on the petrols.
Sport trim comes with MBUX Multimedia, 7″ cockpit display and 7″ touchscreen, reversing camera, 17″ alloys, Sat Nav, Active Lane Keep, Speed Limit Assist, DAB, Keyless-Go, Climate, LED headlights and Artico and Fleron upholstery.
AMG Line models get 18″ AMG alloys, three-spoke steering wheel, Sports Seats, Diamond Grille, AMG body kit and Artico and Dinamica trim with red stitching.
It wouldn’t be Mercedes unless there were plenty of ways to up the price, so you can add Executive Equipment for £1,395, Premium Package for £2,259, Premium Plus Equipment for £3,459, Driving Assistance Package for £1,695 and more.
The new Mercedes B-Class is now on sale at Mercedes’ UK dealers, with first deliveries due in spring 2019.
