The ‘new’ Nissan Juke – revealed at Geneva in March – may not really be ‘new’, but it has been thoroughly updated for 2014 with new tach, new engines and more personalisation options than before.
The entry-level for the Juke is the 1.6 94PS in Visia trim which offers 16″ alloys, AirCon, CD with AUX-In and MP3 inputs, electric windows, daytime running lights and tyre pressure monitoring.
Move up to the Acenta trim (prices start at £15,320) and you can add 17″ alloys. Bluetooth, USB, Climate, Privacy glass and steering wheel controls for the sound system.
The Acenta Premium (the replacement for the old Juke N-Tec and costing from £16,470) gets the new Nissan Connect with SatNav, online Apps and smartphone connectivity, reversing camera and upgraded interior with a Design Studio Personalised interior package thrown in.
Spend a but more on the Juke Acenta Premium by going for the DIG-T 190PS setup (costs from £18,020) and you’ll get more still with 18″ alloys, Keyless and electric folding and heated door mirrors.
Top of the tree is the new Juke Tekna (which costs from £17,670) which gets all the toys with leather, auto lights and wipers and Nissan Safety Shield – which incorporates lane departure and blind spot warnings and advanced moving object detection – thrown in.
You can also add the most appealing options where you need them, with the Open-air sunroof costing £750, Xenons £500 Personalised Exterior PAckage £170, Personalised Interior and Exterior Package £520 and Nissan Safety Shield £400.
Order books for the thoroughly updated – and still appealing – Juke are now open, and with prices from £13,420 (just £225 more than the original entry-level Juke) rising to £22,670 for the range-topping Juke Tekna DIG-T 190 with 4WD, CVT, open air roof and Xenons, there’s a Juke for everyone.
