New Porsche Macan leaks out

We have the first photos of the new Porsche Macan as they leak out ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show.

Porsche has been on a mission to raise interest in the new Macan, and we’ve had teaser photos of the Macan and video of the new Macan playing on the sand dunes. Now we get the first undisguised photos.

The Macan photos (above) are from Auto Motor und Sport magazine and leaked out online with almost three weeks to go until the Macan gets its official reveal in Los Angeles.

So far, all the photos we’ve seen of the Macan have had some disguise on the front and back, but we can now see the Macan has a more coupe look than the Q5 on which its based with a more rounded rear end and narrow tail lights. But it’s still clearly a baby Cayenne.

We know already that the Macan will come with a 3.0 litre V6 turbo in the Macan S good for around 350bhp and a 3.6 litre V6 Turbo in the Macan Turbo with around 400bhp. We also expect a 3.0 litre V6 Turbo diesel with around 250bhp.

The official debut for the Porsche Macan is on 20th November, but it’s highly likely it will be revealed before.
