The 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography has been revealed ahead of its Los Angeles Motor Show debut. The ultra-luxury Range Rover costs from £167,850.

The 2018 Range Rover was revealed last month with a raft of updates, and the knowledge there would still be a range-topping SVAutobiography model to give prospective buyers of the Bentley Bentayga pause for thought.

Now, with a public debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show this week, the 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography has been revealed.

Delivering all the updates the regular RR gets, which means a bit of a Velar makeover including vastly improved infotainment and instrument displays, the SVAutobiography also come with the new P400e plug-in hybrid powertrain as an option.

Just like the current SVAutobiography, the new model comes only in LWB so you have room to sprawl in the back – with over 1.2m of leg room – in powered, reclining seats with deep seat foams and comfort interlayers, with heated calf and foot rests, hot stone massage function and a button to open and close the doors – because it’s too much effort to pull a lever.

Rear seat passengers can also indulge in a bit of entertainment with 10″ Touchscreens integrated in to the fold-down tables, sip something cool from the concealed fridge and keep connected with 4G WiFi.

The Range Rover SVAutobiography is the epitome of luxury, comfort and refinement. Our standard-bearer for quality and precision exemplifies the attention to detail and sophistication that has been a hallmark of our most luxurious SUV stretching back almost 50 years.

The SVAutobiography will be hand-finished at Land Rover’s SVO Centre and will be available with JLR’s 4.4 litre diesel, 5.0 litre Supercharged petrol or P400e plug-in hybrid.

Price start at £167,850 for the 335bhp V8 diesel and rise to £177,030 for the 557bhp 5.0 litre supercharged V8 petrol. The SVAutobiography P400e plug-in hybrid costs from £168,015.
