New Volvo S60 TEASE begins with a video – debuts 20 June 2018

Volvo begins the tease for the new S60 Saloon, due to be revealed next week at Volvo’s US Plant, the final piece of the new 60 Series Volvo family.

We already know that the new Volvo S60 will be the first Volvo in a generation or three to come without a diesel engine option, and we also know it will be the first Volvo to be offered with a performance enhancing Polestar Engineered upgrade for its T8 Twin Engine PHEV version.

But, thanks not only to the recent arrival of its V60 sibling but also to a leaked photo of the new S60, we have a pretty good idea of what’s coming.

But just because the world already knows pretty much all there is to know about the new S60, it doesn’t’ mean Volvo aren’t going to bother trying to build interest in next week’s reveal with a tease or three.

So today we get an opening salvo of what you can probably expect will be a small onslaught of teases ahead of next week’s debut, with a video posted on Facebook by Volvo (below) giving you a look at the new S60 from above and from the front.

Unsurprisingly, Volvo seems to have chosen the new S60 T8 Polestar Engineered version for its little tease, complete with custom grille and Polestar badge, as well as bigger air intakes than the regular S60 is likely to get.

Expect more S60 teases between now and when the S60 launches at an event in Gothenburg and Charleston next week.
