Nissan Qashqai Black Edition SV – the first ‘new’ Qashqai special
The Nissan Qashqai Black Edition SV has been revealed as the first special edition version of the new Qashqai, sitting at the top of the Qashqai range.
The Nissan Qashqai hasn’t spawned a limited edition version since the new Qashqai arrived in 2013 – perhaps because Nissan hasn’t needed it to drive sales of the very successful crossover – but it seems the time has arrived to give the Qashqai a bit of a boost with a limited edition – the Nissan Qashqai Black Edition SV.The premise isn’t exactly cutting edge, with Black Editions being perhaps the most common ‘Specials’ car makers roll out, an evocative badge in ‘SV’ (although here it stands for ‘Special Version’ and not Superveloce) and extra goodies for a bit less money than if you specced it up yourself.
With all the special edition boxes ticked, Nissan has taken the range-topping Tekna spec and given it 19″ Black alloys, a Pearl Black paint job and skid plates front and back.
A Panoramic roof is also included along with black leather, a 7″ touchscreen infotainment with Sat Nav, DAB and 360-degree Around View.
Included are a number of safety systems including Lane Departure, Auto High Beam, Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Warning, with Hobson’s choice on the engine – the dCi 110 with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Nissan Qashqai Black Edition SV is now on sale in Nissan’s UK dealers from £27,310.
