Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition revealed
The Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition is revealed as a new range-topping Macan with 36bhp more than the Turbo and an £86,267 price tag.
The Porsche Macan has been a roaring success for Porsche, eclipsing the cash cow success of the Cayenne with a more compact, more dynamic SUV which is still flying out of Porsche show rooms despite typically premium Porsche prices. Now, Porsche is pushing its Macan pricing to the extreme with the arrival of the Porsche Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition to sit at the top of the Macan range and ‘boasting’ an £86,267 price tag.
That’s around £23k more than you’ll pay for the regular Macan Turbo, and still getting on for around £20k more than you’d pay for the Macan with Turbo Performance Pack.
For you additional chunk of change you get an extra 36bhp from the Turbo’s 3.6 litre twin-turbo V6 – as well as 442lb/ft of torque – which will get you to 62mph in 4.4 seconds and on to 169mph, the same as the Turbo Performance Pack, 15mm lower ride height, PASM and the Sport Chrono Pack.
There are a few cosmetic tweaks too, including new alloys which look to have been borrowed from the 911 Turbo, LED lights, bits of red pinstriping, red seatbelts, stitching and ‘Turbo’ motifs on the inside and ‘Exclusive Performance Edition’ splashed on the sills.
If you think that all adds up to a Macan you’d happily drop £86k on, the Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition is now on sale at Porsche’s UK dealers with first customer cars due in January.
