Range Rover Evoque Landmark (pictured) celebrates 600,000 sales
To celebrate more than 600,000 Range Rover Evoque models built in the UK, Land Rover has launched the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition priced from £39,000.
It’s almost seven years since the Range Rover Evoque arrived, turning the LRX Concept in to reality and kick-starting Land Rover’s revival under Tata.Since then, Land Rover has built more than 600,000 Evoques in the UK, so it’s a decent excuse to have a celebration model. And this is it – the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Special Edition.
Going on sale on Wednesday (10 May 2017), the Evoque Landmark comes in a choice of Moraine Blue (in the picture above), Yulong White and Corris Grey with 19″ gloss dark grey alloys, dynamic body kit and dark grey body trim. It costs from £39,000 for the TD4.
Inside gets more dark grey accents, with Ebony leather with Light Lunar stitching and perforated centre panel, 10″ InControl TouchPro media with Apps for stuff like wi-fi hotspots and Spotify.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer, said:
What makes Evoque so special is its relevance. The design remains modern and fresh. The Evoque is widely acknowledged to have brought a whole new youthful generation of buyers into the Range Rover brand, including more women.
Its success was clear from the start and gave us the confidence to break new ground, which you can see with vehicles like the Evoque Convertible. This Landmark Special Edition is a celebration of six years of success so far.
Despite being almost seven years old, Land Rover are still building 21 new Evoques every hour, 80% of which are exported to 130 different overseas markets.
