The Canary Yellow Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport from the Dubai Motor Show has turned up at the Qatar Motor Show. It obviously didn’t sell.
Back in November, Bugatti took a trio of Veyron Grand Sport models to the Dubai Motor Show, all decked out with a host of options from Bugatti’s endless ‘extras’ list in the hope of making a dent in the still 100+ Grand Sports they have left to build.
Bugatti seems to have lost its mojo of late, and they couldn’t even be bothered to come up with the usual set of pretentious names for this trio they’ve managed for previous custom Bugattis. There was just a green one, a blue one and the one you see above in a startling shade of Canary yellow.
We did say in November that with a bit of luck the passing visitors in Dubai would drop a bit of loose change and snap up Bugatti’s Grand Sport offerings, otherwise they’d keep turning up at Motor Shows. But it seems the plan didn’t work for Bugatti as they’ve now turned up at the Qatar Motor Show with the Canary Yellow Grand Sport in tow.
It’s all starting to look a bit desperate. Has Bugatti lost its way, and has the Veyron become passé?
