The 2010 versions of the Skoda Fabia and Skoda Roomster - prices announced

Having revealed the 2010 facelift for the Skoda Fabia and Skoda Roomster, Skoda has now revealed price and model detail.

Skoda revealed both the 2010 Skoda Fabia and the 2010 Skoda Roomster facelifts officially last week at Geneva, complete with a new front end and a revised range of engines.

Cosmetic changes are most evident on the nose, with a re-worked grill and a set of rather large 3-D headlights which, despite being fairly modest changes in terms of a facelifted model, do conspire to make the Fabia and the Roomster a bit more striking. But the main changes are under the skin.

There are four engines on offer – two diesels and four petrols – with power outputs ranging from 60bhp through to 105bhp, a reduction in emissions and fuel consumption throughout the range and a boost in performance. Most fun probably comes from the new 1.2 TSI which, when mated to the two-clutch seven-speed DSG transmission, will row along very convincingly yet still manage 53.3mpg.

Prices start at £9,330 OTR for the Fabia and £11,260 for the Roomster, with trim choices of S, SE and Scout (plus Elegance on the Fabia). All the prices are below and there’s 2010 Skoda Fabia and Roomster engine details on the launch story.
