The Peugeot 208 GTi is Peugeot’s attempt to recreate the iconic Peugeot 205 GTi, and it looks the most convincing effort to date. Powered by the 1.6 litre turbo PSA lump, it will deliver almost 200bhp and hit 60mph in under 7 seconds.
Peugeot hasn’t yet given any word on when we can expect the 208 GTi to arrive, but it should be by the end of 2012.
