Ferrari SP Arya – a one-off Ferrari 599 GTO for Cheerag Arya

Indian-born and Dubai-based Cheerag Arya has commissioned a special one-off Ferrari 599 GTO – the Ferrari SP Arya.

Indian born businessman Cheerag Arya (know as CA), still only 32, spent many years working in the US but now lives in Dubai where he runs his family’s petrochemical business and indulges in his passion for Ferrari, particularly Ferrari’s big GT cars.

His daily driver is a 599 GTO and he owns a Daytona (which he bought for the pop-up headlights), an F40, a 599XX and an SA Aperta among others. That sort of garage gives him the option to buy in to any of Ferrari’s latest cars, but CA decided he wanted his own custom Ferrari.

So Ferrari are busy creating him the Ferrari SP Arya, a one-off Ferrari based on the 599 GTO but with custom bodywork and, perhaps, a bit of fiddling with the exhaust and suspension.

CA said:

I told the designers what I wanted and they presented me with a total of 12 designs. I then picked the bits from each that I liked until we got an idea of the car I had in mind. A bit like a wish list.

CA has already been to Maranello and seen a full size clay model of his very special Ferrari, but beyond the rendering above (published in Ferrari Magazine) we have little detail.

But once CA gets his car – which he plans to use in Dubai and bring with him for his European summers – we should know more.
