The Subaru XV Black Limited Edition

Subaru launched their XV SUV – basically a high-riding Crossover Impreza – back in 2012, and it was a decent offering.
Now, with prices cut back and the XV starting from £18,995, it seems Subaru has decided it’s time to shift some more expensive metal, so we’ve got the Subaru XV Black Limited Edition which adds more kit and style and starts at £24,495.
Finished in Crystal Black Silica paint, the XV Black gets silver-resin skid guards under the front and back – and at the side – a set of mudflaps, a cargo step panel and foldable cargo tray. You’ll also get some butch rubber floor mats.
It doesn’t seem a lot – except for the nice paint job – but Subaru say it would cost you £1600 to spec up an XV to the same level, so as the XV Black is just £1,000 more than the standard XV it’s good value. Assuming you want the extras.
Available as a 2.0i Lineartronic for £24,995 or with the 2.0 litre Boxer diesel (with manual ‘box) for £24,995, it’s probably a good way for Subaru to get a bit of extra footfall for higher-priced XVs.
