New Nissan Murano teased ahead of New York debut
The Nissan Murano may no longer be sold in the UK, but that is likely to change with the arrival of a new Murano, teased ahead of its debut at the New York Motor Show next month.
That means design that flows from a statement grill and boomerang-like headlights along strong crease lines on the flanks to a kick-up shape at the rear.
The new Murano – from what we can see in the very brief tease video (below) – looks to follow much of that form and is also likely to get a much more upmarket interior – and more technology – than the current Murano.
If – and it seems more likely, when – the new Murano makes its way to the UK and Europe, Nissan are likely to replace the 3.5 litre petrol V6 in the North American Murano with something more appealing to European SUV markets. A diesel or two is a given as, probably, is a hybrid Murano.
The new Nissan Murano will debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show in April and is expected to go on sale in the US at the end of 2014.
