BMW is updating models in its range for 2014 including the 5 Series, 2 Series Coupe, 4 Series Convertible and 4 Series Gran Sport.

Last week we had UK prices and specs for the new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, but the Active Tourer isn’t the only news from BMW – there’s a raft of updates for UK models for 2014.
The new engine will also arrive ion the 520d wher it costs £31,965 in the saloon and £34,290 in the Touring, with official economy of 65.7mpg and 62.8mpg.
The 2 Series gets a new model – the BMW 228i – with an appealing 242bhp, a 0-62mph of 5.7 seconds and a starting price of £28,260.
The 4 Series Convertible gets a raft of new models with the arrival of the 420i with 181bhp (34,210), 425d with 215bhp (£38,540), 430d with 254bhp (£44,485) and the 4WD 435d xDrive with 309bhp (£48,400).
The 4 Series Gran Coupe also gets new engines with the 420i with 215bhp (30,960), 430d and 430d xDrive (prices TBA) and 435d sDrive with 309bhp (£44,545).
Other updates include a new 8-speed auto with Proactive Drive for the 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series and 5 Series which use the SatNav to pick the right gear, a new Business Nav and Pro radio for the 1, 2 and 5 Series and a range of new colours and trims.
