New Hyundai i20 Coupe price & specs – costs from £12,725

The new Hyundai i20 arrived at the Paris Motor Show, with Hyundai promising a new Coupe to follow. That arrived just before Christmas and now, with the new Hyundai i20 Coupe due to go on sale on 26 March, we have the UK specs and prices.

Under the skin, the new i20 Coupe is much the same as the five-door, but Hyundai has done a good job of putting clear water between the two models with a body that looks different enough to be convincing – thanks to more steeply rake pillars, new grill, new bumpers, lights and styling lines – and yet still offers as much interior space as the hatch.

Trim levels are SE, Sport and Sport Nav, with the SE getting 16″ alloys, Bluetooth, Cruise, rear parking sensors and a rear spoiler all as standard, and Sport adding 17″ alloys, auto lights, Climate and privacy glass. The Sport Nav does what it says on the tin and also adds rear-view camera and DAB.

Engine options are a 1.2 litre petrol good for 83bhp and a 1.4 litre diesel with 89bhp, with the petrol getting a five-speed manual gearbox and the diesel a six-speed.

The new Hyundai i20 Coupe will be on sale at Hyundai’s UK dealers from 26 March from £12,275 for the SE 1.2 petrol to £16,400 for the Sport Nav 1.6 diesel (full prices below).
