Following a recent tease of a new car for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, we now know it’s a new Morgan Aero 8 after Morgan Tweeted a teaser photo.

It’s a new Morgan Aero 8 that’s heading for Geneva
Earlier this month, Morgan released a teaser photo of a new car they are planning to debut at next week’s Geneva Motor Show.
The last Aero 8 arrived in 2001 as the first Morgan that offered a nod to the 21st century, with an aluminium chassis and frame rather than the traditional carpenters car construction Morgan are renowned for, with a 4.4 litre BMW V8 under the bonnet, lots of pre-war curves on offer and, perhaps the most remembered element of the Aero 8, a set of headlights that made it look cross-eyed.
The cross-eyed headlights (actually headlights from the VW Beetle) were eventually replaced with ones that looked straight ahead (sourced from MINI) and the 4.4 litre V8 was supplanted by the new 4.8 litre BMW lump.
But the Aero 8 gave way to the Aeromax cars in 2010, so what exactly Morgan has in mind for the new Aero 8 we’re not sure. Will it be a range-topper or an entry-level Aero? Will it be a hardtop coupe or come with a removable hardtop?
These questions, and more, should be answered next week when the new Morgan Aero 8 debuts in Geneva.
