Top Gear tonight – episode 9 of series 22 – should have seen Clarkson, Hammond and May in second-hand SUVs, Jeremy on Luxury Limos and Henry Cavill as SIARPC.

Top Gear Series 22 Episode 9 should have seen a bargain second-hand SUVs challenge
The fall out from Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘fracas’ with a BBC Top Gear producer continues to rumble on, which means tonight’s episode of Top Gear – which would have been episode 9 of series 22 – has been cancelled, just as last week’s was.
That investment includes a piece on second-hand, bargain SUVs, with Jeremy in a Vauxhall Fontera, Richard in a Jeep Cherokee and James in a Shogun Pinin, facing challenges like caravanning (of course), watersports and an off-road challenge, with heavy penalties for the loser.
Jeremy also takes to the road and the Top Gear track in a trio of ultra-luxury limos, but with the episode pulled and BBC Media not willing to elaborate, your guess is as good as ours as to which luxury limos Jeremy played with.
Finally, the star in a reasonably priced car was supposed to be Superman actor Henry Cavill, but that will doubtless change if this episode ever airs.
The BBC reckon they will deliver judgement on Jeremy this coming week, so we may see Top Gear return or we may see Jeremy go off and make a farming programme – the best farming programme…in the world – with Andy Wilman.
Top Gear won’t be on BBC2 tonight at 8pm tonight, and instead you’ll be getting The Caribbean with Simon Reeve.
Can’t wait.

That’s disappointing, was looking forward to seeing Henry Cavill in tonight’s episode.
