The SEAT Alhambra is not the most exciting MPV you’ll come across, and the 2015 facelift isn’t going to change that. In fact, you’ll struggle to see what’s new.
Also on offer is SEAT’s Easy Connect Infotainment which includes a high-resolution touchscreen and good connectivity, Autonomous Braking, Blind Spot Monitor, Massage Seats and Keyless. Some are options, depending on model.
But it’s under the skin where the changes are most significant, with SEAT claiming a 15 per cent improvement in economy for the 2015 Alhambra.
On offer in the UK are a 2.0 litre diesel and a 1.4 litre petrol, with the diesel available with 148bhp and 57.6mpg or 182bhp, and the 1.4 litre petrol delivering 148bhp, all of which can be mated to a DSG ‘box if you tick the option.
The 2015 SEAT Alhambra looks capable and efficient – if not inspiring – and goes ons ale in the UK in May. No prices yet, but we’ll update when SEAT let us know, although they’re unlikely to be much up on the current starting point of £25,630.
